Yummy Birthday Card

The Design Team members were given an assignment at Buzz & Bloom to complete
a project using the following colors:

a.

b.

c.

What a fun color combination!! I used BoBunny's 'Tis The Season papers (yes, Christmas paper for a birthday card) on my project. I really jazzed this card up with Petaloo's amazing glitter papers and birthday cupcake dazzlers...what's a birthday without a lot of sparkle. I loved working with the glitter papers because they are a lot less messy than glitter and you can do anything with them. I used a border punch on mine! Careful though if you try this, you may have to punch a piece of aluminum foil a few times afterward to resharpen your border punch.

Buzz and Blooms new chipboard Buttons were the perfect accents for this card!!

I inked both CB Buttons alabaster and then coated with stardust stickles. I decorated the circle button with a red gem and then used it to embellish the cake pedestal. I used floss to finish off the heart button with a little bow. So my bow doesn't unravel, I added a few drops of Helmar's Quick Dry Adhesive to it. It dries clear and you can't even tell it's there!
