30 Days of Thankfulness (Days 22-30)

In continuing with my 30 days of Thankfulness posts... I'm thankful for:

Day 22 the wonderful sermon I heard yesterday during my godson's baptism. It was a reminder that I am not in this alone because He is right there every step of the way.

Day 23 My Xander who told me it was his birthday because he discovered a box of cake mix in the cabinet. I laughed about that for the rest of the day.

Day 24 the 50% off sale that I caught at New York & Co!

Day 25 Happy Thanksgiving!!! Today I am thankful for the feeling of God in my heart. Thank you so much God for everything in my life, for seeing me through, for keeping my family and me healthy, and nourished, housed, and clothed. Thank you!

Day 26 Black Friday sales!!! I finished shopping for the boys in one day! Woot!

Day 27 Time spent with family

Day 28 My craft-- I get to leave a little piece of myself in my scrapbooks and projects for future generations. I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing people who understand my passion. I've had the pleasure of designing projects for some amazing companies, seeing my work in print...and I've even won a cruise through my hobby. How awesome is that?

Day 29 Quiet mornings with raspberry tea and raisin bread.

Day 30 my life...'nuff said!

30 Days of Thankfulness (Days 8-14)

This is the 2nd series in my 30 Days of Thankfulness posts.

Today I am thankful for:

Day 8 Panera Bread's delicious creamy tomato soup with a French baguette on the side. It was cold and raining/sleeting today and this really hit the spot!

Day 9 my laptop because it allows me to stay in touch with my cyber-verse

Day 10 modern medicine

Day 11 my freedom

Day 12 my dad...I think this is the first time I've ever said I've been thankful for him. I didn't know him very well, but he's always on my mind. I wish he were still alive so we'd have an opportunity to grow a better relationship. Despite the lack of participation in my life, I would not be here without him.

Day 13 for the opportunity to spend quality time with extended family members.

Day 14 days where I have the energy to really tackle my to do list, though today is NOT one of them!

30 Days of Thankfulness (Days 1-7)

There are so many things, big and small, that I have to be thankful for. Last year, I joined in on a challenge with an online forum and created daily posts about something that I was thankful for during the month of November. I've decided to do the same thing again this year and share my posts on a weekly basis.

This week, I am thankful for:

Day 1 Lynn, the best Zumba instructor ever...although I didn't make it to class this morning.

Day 2 my chiropractor for getting all of the kinks out and the ability to exercise my right to vote..

Day 3 unemployment; although it's not enough and a job would be greatly appreciated, it's better than nothing!

Day 4 spending an entire rainy, school's out Thursday in our pajamas.

Day 5 the extra ounce of patience that helped me deal with a "messy" situation. Let's just say potty training is a bitch!

Day 6 having a family dinner date with my guys and my in-laws and celebrating a friend's milestone birthday.

Day 7 getting that extra hour of rest, thanks to daylight savings time coming to an end.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have much to be thankful for this week!
