Purple Cows Project | HSN

There are some exciting things coming up at the pasture! For starters, Purple Cows will be appearing on HSN later this month!! How exciting is that? I created a special project for display on the show....but of course you'll have to tune in to see it...it'll be on display at CHA, too! Tune in to HSN on January 12th at midnight EST and 7pm EST to see Vennita do her thing!!

The following project is an altered iCube. It's a 14x14, black, hard plastic panel that each designer was given to alter. I gave mine a faux canvas look by putting strips of magic mesh around the edges and painting over them with white acrylic paint. I used 7 different lines by Cosmo Cricket (Dutch Girl, Boyfriend, Early Bird, Hello Sunshine, Jack's World, Get Happy, and Li'l Man)!! I love it when you can mix different lines and still achieve a cohesive look! Makes me one happy scrapper! (partner product from glue arts, clearsnaps, Cosmo Cricket, magic mesh).

All of the altered panels will be on display at CHA. So stop by the booth to check them out!

supplies: iCube panel, 2-in-1 trimmer- Purple Cows; patterned paper, chipboard shapes, ribbon- Cosmo Cricket; chipboard alpha and brackets- Zsiage; ink- clearsnaps; stickles- Ranger; mesh- Magic Mesh; foam alpha- Target; pen- sharpie

Also, the deadline for Purple Cows design contest has been extended until January 17, 2010! Hope to see you among the winners; there's $9000 in prizes up for grabs!

Have a great day! Thanks for taking a peek!
