...when I received the call saying that I was chosen to be on the Design Team for
My Little Shoebox!!!!! Yep, Suzy West called me to break the fabulous news. Funny story- when the phone rang, I looked at caller ID and saw California and a phone number. Instantly I was annoyed and rolled my eyes because I thought is was probably a sales person, someone trying to get me to take a survey, or a call for this person who I don't even know! Anyway, I answered the phone in my "what do you want now" voice, when I was greeted with this perky, sweet voice telling me that I was chosen to be on the DT. Oh, you would have died laughing had you seen my face! I tried to change my attitude from annoyed to super excited with out Suzy noticing! By the end of the phone call I was all smiles!!! I can't wait to start working with this team of ladies!

These are the projects I created as a Scrap Diner Kitten. The kit is called Tradewinds and has lots of fun stuff! The colors are perfect for summer and vacation pics!
I designed and drew everything here freehand- except the palm trees. I think the stitching really adds to the sun's design.
I drew the title here out of the brown cardstock, cut it out and mounted it on a piece of orange cardstock.
