For starters, we're going on day 3 of Xan sleeping through the night! He's so good about it too, he starts to fall asleep with hardly any prompting around 9ish and wakes up in the 5 o'clock hour. So glad that I'm getting some sleep! I was afraid that I would have a repeat performance, Donovan didn't sleep through the night until 10 months!
I started walking at the park today- I've decided that I want to loose 15 pounds before I return to work in September. It shouldn't be that difficult loosing 5 lbs a month- this will then put me at my pre-pregnancy weight (with Donovan). I'm already 10 lbs less than I first weighed in with Xander. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can achieve my goal- I'm such a junkfood-a-holic!
I went to see Sex and the City- I loooooved it, I want to see it again!
I finished a layout and a card today- feeling kind of productive! I'll post them tomorrow when I can photograph them in better lighting. I also started another challenge contest- this time at myscrapbooknook.com. The contest runs for the month of June; the first challenge:
"to document THIS week through both photos, journaling, and paper. You may create a mini album, a layout, or anything else you can come up with, but each day must be represented. At least 7 photos must be used". This is going to be a doozie, but a challenge that I've wanted to do for a long time. Wish me luck!
Challenge # 5 is up at Dream Girls. This time the challenge was to "Scrap 5 random thoughts on a layout. The topic is your choice. But you must journal in 5 different locations on the page. Use journal spots or get creative like the DT Divas did. Your twist is to include doodling on your page". This was so much fun...I love being a part of this DT because I'm always inspired to think outside of my box!! To see what the rest of the DT came up with, click here.
journaling: I always miltitask- it's rare to find me doing one thing at a time; I love words and often look them up on answers.com; I usually drive above the speed limit!; I'm a junkfood junkie!; I used to be a neat freak- I know it's hard to tell now but seriously I organized my books in size order and even alphabetized CDs and video tapes- crazy, I know.
