Blog Challenge and Projects

There's a great new blog challenge going on for the month of June over at scrapbook.com! The idea is to get folks bloggin'- there's a topic for each day and all you have to do is blog that particular topic for that day! Easy enough...I'm definitely going to do this.

Today's challenge is to blog about something HOT- and since I've decided to lose a few pounds the first thing that comes to mind is food!

My favorite hot foods/drinks are:
hot chocolate- as soon as there's a hint of chill in the air, normally around mid September, I stock up on hot chocolate- it's a favorite in my household!
tea- this is a comfort for me- I love to drink tea when I have a cold, when my stomach hurts and it helped me get through those days of morning sickness. I had the chicken pocks at 20 and I swear the tea helped bring the pocks out faster so they could begin to heal! At work, I drink tea on an almost daily basis during those cold months- no coffee for me!
jalapeno peppers- probably my favorite condiment ever! During both pregnancies, I craved these even more than I normally do. There's this pizza place around the corner from my job that makes the BEST jalapeno pizza...yummy!!! I rarely eat a cold sandwich without jalapenos- the more, the better!
Hot sauce- no fried food is complete without it!!

My most recent projects- I created these to teach at my LSS next month. Photo is of my boys taken on Mother's Day. Everything here is My Mind's Eye (except photo turn and staples). The "Boys Rule" mat is my own design- so fun to create!
