You Know You're A Scrapbooker When...

1. You open your work bag or purse and find an envelop that's covered with glimmer mist because you used it to spray a flower.

2. You wake up in the morning and the ribbon that you were working with the day before is in your bed.

3. You find sparkly pieces of glitter...on your sons!

4. You step outside to get the mail and look down to see remnants of Fancy Pants and Basic Grey papers on your doorstep.

5. Ink/paint covers your nails instead of polish.

All of these things have happened to me recently and I can't do anything but laugh each time- i love my hobby! I know y'all have those moments, so post them here!

LOL too funny....

How about..

You know you are a scrapbooker when your kids know who the different mfgs are...

....when your kids see something and say momma you can use that on your scrapbook page.

....when your husband can identify Heidi Swapp products.

......when your husband asks you if you want him to take a pic of the bug your son found even though you aren't at home lol

... if you have an irresistable urge to leave work, go home, and scrapbook on a daily basis.

... if you can't eat dinner at your dining room table because it is too cluttered with your latest projects.

Yeah. I've been there, too. ;)

You know you are a scrapper when you find brads in your car!

You know you are scrapper when your husband picks up napkins or menus at resturants and tells you "this is for your scrapbook page"

and lastly....

You know you are a scrapper when your boss calls you in the office to tell you that they are cutting your wages by 20%, and therefore we only have to work 4 days a week instead of 5 and all I can think about is "WOOHOO... A DAY TO SCRAPBOOK!!! " -This happened to be today!

I've gone shopping with ink on my face and I've found pieces of ribbon and buttons in my pockets when doing laundry!

Or when you have a closet full of clothes that have ink and paint stains on them from dropping ink pads on yourself and putting your arm on a piece of still wet painted chipboard! Or am I the only clutz scrapper?! LOL!

Oh have I got one for you...

How about when you go to work with ink stained hands from the day before and get strange looks from your patients! (I'm a nurse) I did this right after going to the ranger extravaganza. My patients thought I was the one who was sick with my red and blue hands.

I am proud to say my husband knows quite a bit about scrapbooking now...he is wayy observant!! Too observant...He likes to mess with me when we are in the mall or craft stores...he will say "hey isnt that becky higgens" or sometimes ali edwards. He gets a smack for it every time!

I live in New Jersey with my husband and our 2 sons. I work full time as a Medical Technologist and volunteer for the Community Emergency Response Team in my town. I've been scrapping for the past 8 years and I truly love it because it allows me to combine my love of photography and my love of paper into one art form. I love teaching scrapbook classes and providing freelance work. Please contact me via email if you are interested in commissioning my services: tanisharenee74@hotmail.com
