My Little Shoebox Projects

The following layouts and project were created using My Little Shoebox My Neighborhood line. The sage green, pale yellow, bright pink and turquoise makes these adorable papers fit for masculine and feminine layouts. The touches of black just makes everything pop!

This is the final line of the 6 lines released at CHA-W, so you know what that means.....NEW PRODUCTS!!! That's right, MLS is set to release lots of new product at CHA-S next month!!! I haven't seen the lines yet, but a little birdie told me the names and just from that I can tell that they are going to be super fun and totally cute!! I can't wait to see the new stuff! Suzy is having a ball teasing us with all the juicy details! If you click here, you may get a tiny sneaky teasey of one of the lines coming out. This is the class that Suzy will be teaching on Tuesday, July 28th.

If you're heading to CHA, be sure to check us out! We will be in booth #543 across from Prima. I'll be there along with Helen Chu, Erin Yamabe, Heather Brown, Molly Peckham, Norma Kennedy, Pattie Beltran, and Suzy West!

And now without further adieu...my projects!

I created this layout about the group of awesome women I met at the African American Mom Bloggers Mixer at Walt Disney World. We named our group Disney Mocha Moms, which I think is quite cute!

journaling: Our group of intelligent women sat & chatted over breakfast on the last day of our WDW vacation and in walks Minnie and Mickey Mouse; we lost our minds! Suddenly we became kids again and each vied to get our photo taken with WDW's cutest couple. Yeah, Disney is definitely the most magical place on earth!

I found these old photos of Donovan and my goddaughter. Donovan now 5 years old was 5 months old in this photo. Janiah was just a few days shy of 2...she now finishing up the first grade! Time flies!
The photos here were taken on the day of Xander's first birthday party. I love to kiss and snuggle my little guy, hence the title "just soaking up some sweet baby love".

Finally, I created this altered wooden house. I think I found this little house at Michael's for 29 cents. The theme of these papers were too perfect. I painted the wood white first, then added the papers and used a border punch on cardstock to make the "shingles".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In other news, my little Boo-Boo turned 14 months old yesterday. He's still using the furniture and the walls as a crutch, but every once in a while he'll let go and take a few unassisted steps. He gets so tickled whenever he does this. During his 13th month of life, he learned to climb up the basement steps, he knows how to point to his mouth, nose, and belly upon request. He says bye-bye, ball, and his version of thank you. He still loves to dance and play with his big brother, he drinks from a straw ad has an issue with hitting (we're going to have to nip this in the bud, he's caught me off guard quite a few times). Well that's all for now!
Later,
